Jess Wright is an internationally recognized speaker on treatment of psychiatric disorders, cognitive-behavior therapy, and the use of technology to enhance mental health. He gives workshops and lectures at conferences and universities throughout the world and has received many awards and honors for his teaching, including the Distinguished Educator Award for Lifetime Achievement in Teaching at the University of Louisville and the Aaron T. Beck Institute for Cognitive Studies Award for Excellence.

Jess is the Kolb Endowed Chair of Outpatient Psychiatry and the Director of the University of Louisville Depression Center where he has a clinical practice, teaches, and does research. He has spoken recently at the American Psychiatric Association Annual Meeting, the Well-being Therapy Conference in Venice, Italy, and the University of Michigan, where he was a visiting professor.
